Elizabeth Page Stark Commemorative Coin, from The 'Great Women Of The American Revolution' Collection, Fine Pewter, Limited First Edition.

Elizabeth "Molly" Page Stark, born in Haverhill, Massachusetts (February 16, 1737 – 1814), was the wife of John Stark, General fighting in the American Revolution. She was the daughter of Caleb Page, the first Postmaster of New Hampshire, and his wife Elizabeth Merrill. John and she got married on August 20, 1758. They had 11 children, which included among them their eldest son Caleb Stark, who later became a Historian and State Senator for New Hampshire. She became well known due to her husband's battle cry, "There are your enemies, the Red Coats and the Tories. They are ours, or this night Molly Stark sleeps a widow!". He would shout those words before engaging with the British and Hessian army in the Battle of Bennington. She would also be known for her success as a nurse to her husband's troops during a Smallpox epidemic, and for opening their home as a hospital during the war.
