Cameo Bracelet & Earring Set. The first use of the “Goldette NY” mark was in fall 1955 by Goldette Costume Jewelry founded by Ben Gartner. In 1959 the NY was dropped, and after that until the late 1960s. Not all Goldette jewellery was signed.
Goldette - 1958 - late 1970's (Possibly 1977)
Goldette often styled their jewellery to look like parts of Victorian fine jewellery were pieced together and made by a jeweller into a bracelet or a brooch. Their necklaces consisted of multistrand gold chains with a Victorian or Oriental-style centrepiece. Many of their longer necklaces have a distinctive fold-over clasp, their charm necklaces, pins, and sliding charm bracelets were their signature pieces. Their earlier bracelets often had safety chains attached.
