Roman Oil Lamp with Harpocrates, 2nd Century AD, a terracotta discoid lamp with pierced lug handle to the rear, D-shaped nozzle ring-and-dot motifs to the shoulder, billetted band to the nozzle to the discus, a high-relief standing figure with right hand raised to the face and scepter supported in the left hand (Harpocrates) to the underside, an extensive impressed maker's mark. Ex Davis collection, Cambridgeshire UK, acquired 1990's.
