Nicknamed the 'Plowboy,' Morgan appeared in three World Series for the New York Yankees and also played for Kansas City and Washington during his 13-year career. He came to the Angels when they joined the American League in 1961, then served as pitching coach for the club from 1972-74 and 1981-83.
