Richard Begay's jewelry is rooted in traditional Navajo designs and accented with fine, natural turquoise and other quality gemstones. June 4, 2013, sadly, Richard Begay passed away. He was born in 1943 and has been a professional silversmith since the early 1970's. During his career, Richard won numerous awards. His jewelry is in the permanent collections of the Smithsonian and the Heard Museum, as well as many private collections.
