Small jewellery box carved from real camel bone and brass. The box is handmade and the natural bone colour is preserved.
During the Pharaonic Era, it was common for Egyptian women to sculpt animal bones to decorate their homes. Camel's bones were also commonly used in the wake of the Persian occupation, which brought camels to Egypt in 530 BC.
