Pink Floyd Another Brick In The Wall Gold Glad Record, Limited Edition

The three parts of “Another Brick in the Wall” appear on The Wall album.
Each part essentially consists of one verse, although Part 2 sees its verse sung twice: once by Floyd members and the second time by the guest choir along with Waters and Gilmour.
In Part 1, the protagonist, Pink, begins building a metaphorical wall around himself following the death of his father.
Part 2 addresses traumas involving Pink’s overprotective mother and abusive schoolteachers, which become metaphorical “bricks in the wall.”
Roger Waters, the singer/songwriter and bassist for Pink Floyd, wrote the entire “Another Brick in the Wall” song series.
The band recorded the songs for several months in 1979.
An unexpected beat and a children’s choir were added during the recording process.
At the suggestion of producer Bob Ezrin, Pink Floyd incorporated elements of disco into Part 2.
Part 2 was released as a single, becoming Pink Floyd’s first UK single since “Point Me at the Sky” (1968).
It sold over four million copies worldwide and topped singles charts in fourteen countries, including the United Kingdom and the United States.
The song’s powerful themes and memorable composition have left an indelible mark on music history.
